A new rom-com is coming to Prime Video starring Lee Jung-Jae and Lim Ji-yeon. Nice to Not Meet You will debut exclusively Prime Video across 240 countries and territories, with new episodes released weekly.

“Blending a witty behind-the-scenes look at the entertainment world with heartfelt romance, Nice to Not Meet You follows the unlikely connection between Lim Hyeon-jun (Lee Jung-jae), a typecast actor yearning for a fresh start in melodramas, and Wi Jeong-sin (Lim Ji-yeon), a decorated political journalist suddenly reassigned to the entertainment desk. What begins as a clash of personalities unfolds into a story full of charm, laughter, and unexpected chemistry.”

Following the success of Squid Game and The Acolyte, Lee portrays Hyeon-jun, a seasoned actor stuck playing the same beloved role in a detective series approaching its fifth season. Although the show has been a success for Hyeon-jun, he yearns to do more as a performer and wants to prove himself in a deeper role. Across from Lee, Lim Ji-yeon stars as Wi Jeong-sin, a political journalist forced to change her coverage to the entertainment industry, being forced to report on Hyeon-jun.

The series is directed by Kim Ga-ram and written by Jung Yeo-rang.

A premiere date has not yet been set for the series.
